Plano, TX
Our first child, Caroline, was born June 5th, 2009. She has completely rocked our world. Patty stays home to take care of Caroline full time. Reagan is a computer programmer at PFS Web. We met Jan 9th 2004. Patty's best-friend from high school, Dixie, slyly matched us up. In July of 2004 we moved to Allen, TX for work. We married Oct 29th, 2005 and moved into our current house in Plano the following April. We also have two furry children named Annabell and Oliver. We love to travel. Throughout our marriage we have taken some incredible trips. We haven't gone anywhere with Caroline (other than Tulsa) yet but we're planning a family trip this summer.

Good Report/Bad Report

First of all for the good report. Caroline had a great day at school today. She didn't cry when I dropped her off (although she was hesitant about me leaving) and her teacher loves her (which makes me feel great). Caroline's teacher, Mrs. Alicia, is very sweet and thinks Caroline is very funny, cute and smart (how could we not like Mrs. Alicia!). She said Caroline was the only kid this week (in ALL her classes) to "get" the craft they did. She drew several lines with glue on a piece of paper and the kids were to plant their seeds on the glue (or in the garden). Caroline would pick up one seed and put it on the glue then pick up the next seed and place it on the glue right next to the first seed. I feel very proud!

Now for the bad report (duh, duh duh!). Caroline got a "Hurt and Hugs Report" sent home for hitting and pushing. Mrs. Alicia said she was sweet to the kids until someone took a toy she wanted or got in her way; then she'd knock them! Not cool. I like that she is willing to go after what she wants in life but we need to work on control and respect of others. We have been working on being gentle and empathic towards our friends at play-dates but I think it will come with age. Mrs. Alicia said at lunch one little boy was crying and Caroline looked very concerned and offered her cracker to him. Reagan's response was that she's like her Mommy: very compassionate and thoughtful until you piss her off.
