About Me

My photo
Plano, TX
Our first child, Caroline, was born June 5th, 2009. She has completely rocked our world. Patty stays home to take care of Caroline full time. Reagan is a computer programmer at PFS Web. We met Jan 9th 2004. Patty's best-friend from high school, Dixie, slyly matched us up. In July of 2004 we moved to Allen, TX for work. We married Oct 29th, 2005 and moved into our current house in Plano the following April. We also have two furry children named Annabell and Oliver. We love to travel. Throughout our marriage we have taken some incredible trips. We haven't gone anywhere with Caroline (other than Tulsa) yet but we're planning a family trip this summer.

And in other news........

My sister Sarah's husband Rick was offered and ACCEPTED a job here in the Dallas area!! Rick will be starting within the next couple weeks (possibly as soon as next week). Sarah is going to stay with the kids while they finish out the school year and sell their house. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers. This will be a big change for them. There kids will miss their friends, school and activities. Also they need to sell their house quickly so they can move down before next school year starts.

Their cute family!

Bluebonnets

Last weekend we took C's pictures in the bluebonnets. It's pretty much a state requirement. I think it's in the state's constitution: Little Texans have to have their pictures in the bluebonnets when they bloom each spring. We found a beautiful patch with thick blooms thanks to our friend Grace. It was a beautiful day! We got there, unpacked the car and instantly C and Reagan were both in a funk; they are both allergic to pollen so a field full of pollen covered flowers is not the place to be. We took pictures for a couple minutes before giving up. C got a rash on her legs from walking around amongst the flowers. We took C to her favorite restaurant, Chick-fil-a as a special treat for enduring all the flowers, pollen and rashy legs! Even though the picture session completely sucked C had fun hunting for ladybugs that were crawling on the flowers. In most of the pictures she is looking down searching for bugs.

Us girls were not behaving while we were trying to get a family picture. Neither one of us would look at the camera and C kept wanting to walk off.

We are outta here!

You can't see it that well but there are red dots up her leg.

American Girl

Last week Nana took Caroline to the American Girl Store as a special treat. We all had a great time looking at the dolls and their accessories.

After American Girl we headed to Mi Cocina for a yummy lunch
Nana got C her first American Girl Doll. It's a mini Rebecca doll. She has brown hair and greenish/brownish eyes just like Caroline! C thought her doll was thirsty.
