About Me

Plano, TX
Our first child, Caroline, was born June 5th, 2009. She has completely rocked our world. Patty stays home to take care of Caroline full time. Reagan is a computer programmer at PFS Web. We met Jan 9th 2004. Patty's best-friend from high school, Dixie, slyly matched us up. In July of 2004 we moved to Allen, TX for work. We married Oct 29th, 2005 and moved into our current house in Plano the following April. We also have two furry children named Annabell and Oliver. We love to travel. Throughout our marriage we have taken some incredible trips. We haven't gone anywhere with Caroline (other than Tulsa) yet but we're planning a family trip this summer.

New Diet

The last several days I've had an intense pain in my abdomen along with a few other symptoms. Last night we called the insurance nurse line and their suggestion was to go to the ER which we did. After several hours, a lot of tests and I'm sure a huge bill the doc said I most likely have acid reflux. Reagan was diagnosed with the same thing several years ago and had to completely change his diet to manage his pain. No more coffee, red wine, spicy or greasy foods for me. I'll miss my coffee most of all but if it means no more pain I'm game.

New Hairstyle - the Bob!

C got her haircut by my fabulous stylist Tiffany. She's gotten her hair trimmed but this was her first actual hair style.....very cute! The 2 lollipops and Tinkerbell movie playing on my phone were the only reasons she tolerated the haircut.

Our little PETA girl?

I have to tell you all this story about Caroline cause I think it's so cute. First you have to know that C loves animals.....a lot! Lately we're been teaching her the names and sounds of animals. What does a cow say....moo. What does a chicken say....bock bock etc.

Tonight for dinner I made BBQ chicken. I was expecting her to do what she normally does when I tell her we're having chicken; refuse to eat it. I still offered her a plate because that's what your suppose to do to teach your kids to eat what you want them to eat, right? She tasted it and to my shock ate the entire plate! She handed me the plate and asked for more. I got her another plate which she started eating. I said, "wow, you like that chicken don't you?" She looked up with this discussed face, spit out the bite she had in her mouth and refused to eat anymore.

I think she didn't want the chicken because it was...chicken. Maybe if we make up another word for the chicken you eat she'll eat it. Got any suggestions?

Sick Baby Girl

Thought I'd share these cute pictures of C I took this past week while she was sick. There was snow on the ground here all week and with Caroline sick we stayed in. Most days we stayed in pjs, lounged and watched the Tinkerbell movie about 50 billion times.

Trying out her new nap mat that she got for "school"
Chillin' with her hommies!
Climbing inside her "cave"

Mike's big news!

I can post this picture now that Mike has told most people in family. The week before Christmas was Mike's girlfriend's (Leah) 40th birthday party. She happens to live in the Dallas area so I made it to the party. Mike gave her an incredible gift she'll never forget!

Tulsa Christmas

A couple days after Christmas we drove to Tulsa for one night to attend the adult Redmond get together. Instead of exchanging gifts between the adults in the Redmond family we get together without the kids of the family and play "Dirty Santa". This year was special because Peter and Michelle were in town. It has been YEARS since they spent Christmas in Tulsa.

Living Redmond siblings (minus Mary who was in WY visiting her son Big Chris)
John, Sarah, Peter, Daniel, Mike, Me and Tim
Michelle (Peter's wife), Sandy (Tim's wife) and Tamara (John's wife)
Aaron (Mary's oldest son) and his girlfriend Kelly
Peter
Mike and Rick (Saran's husband)

I was the 12th person to go in Dirty Santa

David and Caroline love playing together.

Christmas Day

Caroline was totally into opening presents today. This year she was more into the contents rather than just the wrapping. We just need to teach her that other people get gifts too!
