Last week she painted the Valentine's she gave to her friends
Sunday night I made caramels for the party. I thought this would take about 2 hours. Ugh, 5 hours later at 3am I finished!

Dressed and ready for the party!
Last week our playgroup met to make Valentine's boxes for the kids.
Our hostesses, Rachel and Avery. Did I mention Rachel is due with her second baby next month?

Playing with Ellerie
This is too cute! Avery's tutu-butt!
Some of the mom's talking
Eating grapes with Parker. She had stolen a few grapes from Parker so I got her a cup!
Sitting with her Valentine, William. These two love each other.
Watching a show with Avery while us moms clean-up.
After dinner we went home and Caroline looked through her Valentine's cards.
"Oh, wow!" - That is one of C's sayings.
Yummy! She partied so hard she lost her shoe!
Reagan opening his new ice-tea maker (that is what he asked for!)
My cute Valentine!
Because we didn't have enough sweets I made Reagan his favorite dessert: a cherry pie.
"I want a bite"
Oh Patty....this blog entry is beautiful. I loved every bit of it. You captured Valentine's Day perfectly...such a magical one at that!
ReplyDeleteI can't believe you made homemade caramels...wow. I have been in love lately with "sea salt carmel" anything and looked at your photos in awe of actually making them. Caroline is just so precious and so dear. What a sweet time this is in our lives, huh?
